Jonathon Drive

On our way home from church we saw a road called Jonathon Drive (spelled the same as Jonathon's name). We just had to take a picture. The roads here are a lot different than those in the grid system state of Utah. The name of a street depends on the direction you are going on it. It may be called Spinning Rd if you turn left onto it, or Joe Greene Blvd (something like that) if you turn right. It will take some getting used to, but we are finding our way around.

Summer fun swimming

Jonathon is allotted a couple hours of work each week for PT (physical training). Today we decided to take some time to go swimming. Michael and I sat and watched while Jonathon swam some laps. It's great to live within walking distance of the pool.

Mowing the lawn for the first time

This is Jonathon mowing our lawn for the first time. It is great to have a house to take care of. We had to borrow the lawn mower from a neighbor until we can get one of our own.

Interestingly enough, the property managers came by the next day and mowed again. I guess we are still on their list of houses to mow. But soon it will be up to us.

Hey guys... did you know...

Hey guys, did you know that my dad is in the Air Force?

He's amazing (sigh). He's basically the greatest dad ever!

I love my dad!

What does Michael do in his spare time?

Watch mom play the piano.... (there's gotta be some sorta trick behind this--)

Try some piano playing himself... (takes lots of concentration)

Spend some tummy time with dad...

And grow up big and tall!!! (notice how cute it is that his arms barely reach the above his head--thanks to the amazing baby proportions.)

Finally in Ohio... TOGETHER!

After finally deciding on a house to live in, the movers brought all of our things to our house. Imagine what the neighbors must have thought when a huge Semi pulled in. Luckily it wasn't full...

Now we just need to unpack. This means we switch off Michael duty while the other can go through boxes. Working with a little one makes everything take twice as long. But it doesn't matter to us, because now we are together!
