Visit from "Uncle" Joran
We had a visit from one of Jonathon's old roommates, Joran Booth. He was happy to see Michael--

Finding Things to Do
Finding things for Michael to do while I try and get things done is always a challenge. One day while I was cooking dinner, Jonathon came up with this great idea. Since he wanted to keep organizing things and I wanted to cook, Michael could entertain himself in one of the empty plastic tubs from Jonathon's organization project. Michael was so happy!

The Chatter Box....
Michael's newest thing is his talking. He will collect his spit into the back of his throat and then just yell creating this loud gurgling sound. He has become quite the pro; in fact, he decided to practice during Relief Society last Sunday just as the sister teaching the lesson stood up. He let out a yell that turned all the heads in the room. Then he wouldn't stop... He was on a roll. I wasn't quite sure what to do. I didn't want to put my hand over his mouth, but he was really loud. I tried patting his mouth to at least sort of stifle it a bit, but then he thought we were playing a cool game where he yells and I make it sound really cool. I finally just stood up with him and walked to the back of the room. This ended up working. So, today, since he is still yelling, I thought I would post a sample of it for you all to hear. He is not nearly as loud as he sometimes is... But he is way cute!

Dining Room Table
Last week we found a dining room table and chairs on craigslist. We bought them for pretty cheap and feel like we got a steal of a deal. The table comes with one leaf and 6 chairs. Also we were able to have the chair covers that the previous owners used. The table is beautiful.
We were able to have some friends over for Sunday dinner last night using our new table. We realized that this is the first time we have hosted someone other than family since we have been married. It is pretty fun. We will be doing it a lot more in the future now that our home feels like it is coming together more.
