The big move to Ohio...
It is finally time for me and Michael to head out to Ohio to meet up with Jonathon. It has been such a long 6 weeks apart, and we are looking forward to being a family again. Because Jonathon would still be at training for the move, we decided to take the AF up on the standing offer to pay for the moving company to come and move all our stuff. This ended up being a GREAT decision on our part. The movers came at 10 in the morning, and by 3 pm they had the entire house packed and all the boxes on the sidewalk outside waiting to be loaded into the truck. It was strange to see all of our belongings sitting out there...
The moving company had an empty moving truck headed to Ohio, so the movers had an entire Semi just for our things. This also meant that our things would arrive in just a few days instead of taking a few weeks.

Sweet Home Alabama (Fifth and Last Day of Trip)
Jonathon had to head off to training again this morning, so I said goodbye in the morning and packed up to head home later in the afternoon.
Take one last look for memory. We'll be together in a few weeks.
Michael slept so well for me on the way home. Notice his long eyelashes in this photo. What an amazing kid.

Sweet Home Alabama (Third Day of Trip)
Because it was Sunday, we had a chance to go to church together. Our ride was a little late, but we ended up getting there soon enough.
After church we had dinner together. We made some Ranch Chicken and potatoes with some fresh fruit and salad in our hotel room. It was fun to eat as a family (notice that I mention everything was fun "as a family." I think there is a pattern evolving here.)

After dinner we went for a walk around the neighborhood by the hotel. It was beautiful weather.

Sweet Home Alabama (Second Day of Trip)
After taking it easy all day, we decided to go out together as a family. We went to a nice southern BBQ type restaurant called Dreamland. It was a blast! Jonathon loved sitting next to his son, and I just love having them both with me.

I didn't bring the Pack 'n Play with me on the plane, and since Michael is so small, we just put him in a drawer with some towels for padding. He was so cute and small in the drawer... I just had to take a picture.
