The Race to the Center: Differences in kids.

So, I mentioned earlier that Emily is chill and observant, and Michael is loud and a show off. Well, they also have different styles of tummy time. Michael will arch his back and, pushing with his hands, hold his head up really high. Emily on the other hand, puts her face down, and bottom up, and pushes with her legs. It's funny to see the differences.

This is why I didn't have twins!

I only have two arms. One is happy, one is sad... need I say anymore!

SWIMMING!!!

Today we took the kids swimming for the first time! I'm not sure what they thought: cold, wet, loud, boring... I don't know, see for yourself.

After his first swim, Michael dried off with mom, and supervised from his stroller the rest of the day's events. Cool Dude!

Emily and Michael

The two kids were really cute together. Emily is very "chill" and observant, while Michael just wants to make some noise. We put the two in their chairs in the living room while we did something else, and they weren't quite sure what to think. This is what happened.

Emily (looking toward Michael):

Michael (noticing the attention), yelled and played and made some real noise. He was surely showing off!

Later on today, we put the kids on the floor to play for a while. We think they may join the synchronized swimming team... They are already practicing! "Right foot up, show your lady hands now! CONCENTRATE!"

Racheal, Matt, and Emily

My aunt Rachael (Rikki) came from NY to visit for a couple days. Her husband Matt is at Chiropractic School out there, and will be done in March. They have a sweet little girl one month younger than Michael. It was fun to have them here to show off their sweetheart, and play games.

Here are Jonathon and Matt with their little ones... CUTE!

Visit from "Uncle" Joran

We had a visit from one of Jonathon's old roommates, Joran Booth. He was happy to see Michael--

and of course, he had to hang him upside down. Thank heavens for old roommates.
